A Canada Super Visa is designed for parents or grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents, allowing them an extended stay beyond the usual six-month period. Also referred to as a parent and grandparent visa, the Super Visa is valid for ten years. It permits multiple entries and allows the parent or grandparent to visit as frequently as desired, provided each visit does not exceed two years. It is important to note that if the stay is less than six months, a standard visitor visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is sufficient, and a Super Visa is not required.
